I took Hannah out on Monday night trick-or-treating. I was bummed though... since September she's been set on being Pocahontas, so in the beginning of October I made her a costume. I went out and bought the trim and a suede fabric and sewed it all together. It was the cutest thing ever and I was so proud of it. Halloween rolls around and we can't find it anywhere. My mistake for letting her play around in it. An hour before we are about to go out, I had to scrounge for a new costume, so we used some fairy wings from her play-dress-up and she called herself the "pink princess fairy". She had a blast though... and I found the costume the next day

I got the ticket, all has been resolved, and I want to cry tears of joy!

I'll be posting pictures in my LJ more now, because we got a digital camera! This is a pic of Derek and I that I took yesterday. The date I wrote on it is wrong... I always do that at the beginning of a new month - use the last month's number out of habit. Anyway, I'll fix it soon, just not feeling like it at the moment.

I've updated myself with LJ... got into the S2 layouts - figured out Flexible Squares and Smooth Sailing. Smooth Sailing is what I have up now. Made one new lj icon of Jim Morrison - which you see illustrated to the upper left corner of this entry in all his sexy goodness. Got into the Tag thing and tagged some of my older entries, although I got bored and gave up after doing like 15 of them. So this is what I did with my free time today.

I'm really excited about finding out that there will be a new Johnny Cash movie coming out in November! Staring Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash himself and Reese Witherspoon as June Carter. If you have quicktime you can watch the trailer here if you have WMP just go on the "media guide" there's should be a link to the trailer on the first page, but if not just put "walk the line" into the search bar and it'll bring it up.

I'm not a big country music fan, in fact I'm pretty sure that I dislike a lot of it. But there are a handful Johnny Cash songs that I've heard, and of what I've heard, I'm crazy about him. Cocaine Blues, A Boy Named Sue, I've Been Everywhere, Ring of Fire, I Walk the Line...

This is my desktop at the moment. I got the wallpaper from pixelgirlpresents.com. I'm new to WinXP and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to how to customize it. For example: A desktop I saw on Lavish.nu See how the colors of the toolbar are different from the default choices? And there's a calendar of sorts on the right side? Does anyone know how to do that?

Oh! I'm currently listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on on CD. I've read it twice, but it's so great to hear it on CD because it's nice to hear all the characters expressions and completely animated. It's almost as if I'm watching a movie if I'd close my eyes. My mother's best friend let me borrow it. She also has Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on CD and she's going to let me listen to that when I'm done with this one. Any of you fans should check it out if you get the chance, it's a lot of fun! Although quite expensive I hear.

The last real entry I made was back in May. I was sort of abandoning this journal, but I can't. I spent a while yesterday looking back through the entries and realizing that there are a lot of things that I don't want to forget, so instead of just getting another screen name and starting all over again I'm just going to wipe clean my flist and move on from there.

And so I have.

Please do not take offence, chances are I was just taking up space on your flist as well, since I haven't done much in the way of commenting for quite some time. Unless you still feel some attatchment I suggest you delete me from your list as well.
